Apolipoprotein B (ApoB) — optimal range for vegans & vegetarians

A protein on every atherogenic lipoprotein particle.

Optimal range

≤ 90 mg/dL

How a value is read

Optimal≤ 90 mg/dL
Above optimal90 – 130 mg/dL
Markedly high> 130 mg/dL

Bands are given in the marker's canonical unit; values in other units are converted automatically.

Why it matters on a plant-based diet

Counts atherogenic particles — a better CVD-risk marker than LDL. A plant-based diet lowers it; with hs-CRP and HbA1c it captures cardiovascular risk well.

A single marker decides nothing

Deficiencies mask one another: high folate hides low B12, inflammation inflates ferritin, low zinc mimics iron deficiency. VEGALYSIS reads the whole picture and explains the links.
